I spoke to her daughter yesterday after the convention and brought a few yard signs home to Marion. I only have room for one in my yard, so if anyone else needs a Denise O'Brien (or Fallon :))yard sign in the CR/Marion area, pm me and I'll hook you up.

Iowa City DUers: Denise O'Brien will be at the downtown New Pioneer next Saturday afternoon. I forgot what time, but I'll update when I find out for sure.

2. I was impressed at the convention

Driving around in bus for 30 days running on homemade biodiesel. Not only is she talking the talk, but she will be riding it too!

3. Not sure yet

AFL-CIO supports Dusky Terry. I am a proud member of said Union, although I do not always toe the Union line. We shall see. I will say that I support Culver instead of Blouin though.

5. Bluzmann - I've known Dusky since he started working on Vilsack's

campaign in 1997 (I was not a Vilsack supporter, but still liked Dusky). He has always been honest and sincere in his work - my husband was friends with Dixon Terry and has great respect for the family. My support for him is personal, so no offense to Denise - I'll vote for whoever the nominee is.
