Burlington St. Bluegrass Band

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday! The Burlington Street Bluegrass band is a regular house band at the Mill comprised of Iowa's best and most respected bluegrass players and their guests. The band, featuring such musicians as Bob Black, Al Murphy, Dale Thomas, Joe Peterson, Mike Finders and John Boyer, plays live bluegrass music and is often joined by other great local and regional musicians.
From 7-10 pm w/ $3 cover.

This thing is going to die if they don't get some people to show up. I just heard about it and it has been going on for 6 months or more. If you like the fiddlers picnic every year you will love this all star lineup. Greg Brown showed up unannounced so you never know who is going to pop out of the woodwork.

2. Mike Finders?

Does Amy stop by too? They are a talented duo. And Greg Brown? Do Bo Ramsey and Pieta Brown stop in too? Bo isn't really Bluegrass, but neither is Greg Brown, in reality. Still good tunes though.

great voice- I have only been twice so far so I haven't seen Bo or Pieta Brown. This is the best kept secret in town and it is to bad.

But alas, I can't make Wednesday nights as I have an annoying thing called a job and responsibility. If it were Tuesday or , better yet, Sunday, I'd be there at least once or twice a month. Anyway, hope maybe Bo or Pieta Brown shows up. Or, dare I say, Lucinda Williams? Does she still hang around up there?
