The one thing that bothers me is that these clowns (columnists) are not "conservative" they are people who are being paid very well to proffer some independent thought. Yet for the last 15 years or so they have been mouthpieces for the party line for the neo fascist party that once was the Republican party. In the place of independent thought they use retooled party talking points. For some reason the Gazette seems to think it satisfies some unattainable mystic "balance" by having one of the talking point regurgitators spew without ever having their coliumns checked for such silly things as facts. You can take Coulter, Limbaugh, Goldberg and other columns in a bag and pick anyone out and it will match the daily Repub talking points. And what I think is sad is that there is plenty of room for true conservatives and their views in the political spectrum, but they have been rendered totally impotent and irrelevant by the neofascists. As a result I believe the ideal of a true discourse in pursuit of the best policies has become extinct. So the Gazette dropped Coulter for a slightly less offensive, yet equally regurgitative so-called columnist. I'll buy them when try to seek truth and not balance.
