Steve King commencement speaker at Western Iowa Tech Community College |
|
How ironic.
The guy doesn't hold anything that even resembles a college degree, yet he's asked to deliver the commencement address.
Only in Northwest Iowa, my friends. Only in Northwest Iowa.

1. spent some time there myself |
|
even more repressed than central Iowa where I am from and currently residing. It wasn't a pleasant experience for me as I am not a mainstream kind of person. Didn't fit in well, didn't want to either.

2. I had some great times in Sioux City... |

met a lady up there, and did a lot of good partying. Really a lot of fun and good to be with. Then, I found out she was originally from eastern Iowa and hated it there and wanted out so bad she could taste it. She finally got her wish and got back to CR.

4. Not to take Steve King's side... |

...but he does hold a degree, from Northwest Missouri State.
I only defend him in this aspect because I also hold a degree from NWMSU.

He never graduated. He went there, but never stuck it out long enough to get a degree.

Just call them and ask if a person with that name holds a degree from the institution. It is part of the public record if they held a ceremony and published a list of graduates for the semester in question.
