Poll question: AAR Listeners, WKOX 1200 AM or WXKS 1430 AM ?
This is a poll for Massachusetts people who listen over the radio at least part of the day.
I listen on 1200 but also on the internet as we don't have Mike Malloy on at 10:00pm.

What is the line up for 1430?

1. I live 5 miles from the 1430 transmitter & it fades after sundown
for some reason 1200 comes in better at night.

2. I'd like to know if Mike Malloy is on 1430.
I wonder if they have the same line up.

5. Some of us Bay Staters are closer to Providence
and listen to WHJJ 920. They do carry Malloy at 10:00.

6. Thanks for the tip
I have been bouncing between the static laden reception on 1190 (Air America) and 1200. I will try 920 tomorrow instead.

I listen often in the morning on my way to work and Stephanie Miller is good ... some days and some days she gets on my last nerve. She seems to dismiss and belittle a lot of her callers instead of giving them an outlet to voice their opinion, IMHO.

7. I listen to both
Driving up the South Shore sometimes 1200 comes in better, sometimes 1430 comes in better. At night 1430 gets drowned out by some station in Halifax. I never knew Halifax even had a radio station.

I like Stephanie Miller and Morning Sedition in the morning, and Ed Schultz on the way home.

8. WHAT ABOUT............
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 04:47 PM by ulTRAX
WHMP am 1440 out of Northampton.... it airs 9 hours of AA every weekday: http://whmp.com/ic/schedule?id=jMhZAnM8&mv_pc=1

I just wish if they have to choose, they'd dump Franken for Randy Rhodes.

11. i get it on 1400
But I know WHMP broadcasts on a number of frequencies. I'm glad they're running some of the programs, but I wish they'd drop O'Lielly.

9. Whichever one is coming in better at the moment
I listen to NPR more than AAR. But when I do listen to AAR, which station depends on where and when I'm driving at the moment. I'll switch between the two to find the best signal.

10. Ding ding ding
There's no option for voting both but this is what I have to do. I can't get 1430 near home but by the time I get to work, it's the better signal.

Have to admit though, I switched off NPR once AAR came to town.

14. Sorry. I failed to provide an option that many use.
What I really wanted to know was Is there a difference in the line up between the stations. I now know that.

12. i wish they would dump Ed Schultz ...
the guy reminds me of limbaugh ... he can't seem to get out the way of his own ego and i don't think much of his politics ...

today he was going on about how the Democrats should try to keep mcCauliffe as DNC chair because he raised so much money ...
