Boston College is in Newton, Massachusetts . . . and Newton, Massachusetts is in Middlesex County. Chestnut Hill is a part of Newton, Massachusetts, as is all the "subdivisions" of Newton.

7. I'm down near the rhode island border. I have been lurking on Du
since the election and signed on a month or two ago, prior to that I was working for John Edwards making phone calls and writing letters. And then when kerry got the go ahead, well of course I supported him.

I posted a lot over at the edwards blog then tried to go over to the kerry blog but didn't like the format, so hardly ever posted.

I stayed with a few close bloggers over at jregrassroots.org, then found du and have been here since and it feels like home.

It's nice to meet you!

9. I think I've got you beat as far as lurking...three and one-half YEARS!
I've know about this site pretty much since the beginning (Jan. 2000) I first heard about it through Bartcop.com.

Finally registered during the height of the Kerry campaign.

Either way, welcome aboard...:hi:

11. Register at the Congressional District thread
There is another thread in the MASSACHUSETTS forum where DU'ers can register by Congressional District.

The purpose is to form a network of activists willing to facilitate communications ACROSS districts.

Please visit http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=158x3244 and reply under your Representative's name.

I reside in Essex County, I work in Essex County (semi-retired), and I am presently "posting" from Essex County. However, I have lived in Middlesex County as well.

1.) The above Massachusetts county map is interactive at original url, and census facts can be found at original url at http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/maps/massachusetts_map.html

2.) A list of cities and towns in each county: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elecct/cctidx.htm
