WOW! What a rush!!!
I spent 1/2 hour this afternoon watching 1800 motorcycles pass by during the annual "Nelson's Ride", a 35 mile "slow" ride to benefit families of Massachusetts cyclists who have died-mostly in accidents.

1800 motorcycles....do you have any idea what that looks like? I didn't. Not until today! I was really blown away.

My neice and her dad rode today. She was on the motorcycle her fiance died on 2 years ago. She bought it, had it restored, got her motocycle license, and is now riding. It has taken a while for me to get up the nerve to actually see her ride, but I did today!

During that 1/2 hour I decided if she can get me a ride - she promised her father she won't take passengers, and his wife rides with him - I want to ride next year. What a feeling it was! WOW!

2. Breathtaking!
This is the 6th annual ride for this group. It began in August, 2000 for the young family of a rider killed in May of that year. Last year his wife asked that some of the proceeds be shared with other families. This year, they have joined with the Massachusetts Motorcyclists' Survivors Fund. It is a "young" ride, but growing rapidly.....You know what it looks like...and now so do I...WOW!

I thought when the 60 cycles outside the funeral home gave their fallen brother "thunder" I had seen something. This was stupendous! Motorcyclists are very special people!
