You can also read our press release.

The gathering is intended to both be informative and also community-building. We will have two speakers, Stirling Newberry of bopnews.com (and popular diarist at dailykos.com) and Fredrick Clarkson, who in addition to blogging at his own site writes for Political Cortex and is working on a new group blog called Talk to Action. Lunch will be a buffet, and we will have breakout groups in the afternoon on various subjects.

1. Tatnuck is an independent, community-minded bookstore
A welcome change from the korporate stores like Borders and Barnes and Noble.

They have two stores, the original at 365 Chandler Street in Worcester and the new one at 18 Lyman Street in Westborough.

Their website is www.tatnuck.com

If you like folk music, you may wish to support their Friday and Saturday (8-10PM) "acoustic cafe", produced by yours truly.

4. Be there or be square
See details as blogleft, but as I remember the posting, those confirmed to be in attendance include John Bonifaz, Tim Murray, Mike Festa, and several other candidates whose names escape my decafinated brain.

Along with Fredrick Clarkson, Stirling Newberry and the other blogging illuminari mentioned above.
