for the happy hour...
I usually go to Boston on Rt. 2, park at Alewife, and take the red line in. Does it make sense to take the red line to downtown and take the green line to Copley? Or should I take the Pike in and park ... somewhere else? I'm about 20 minutes south of Greenfield, 30 minutes north of Springfield.

1. I would do the Red/Green Line
but check back on Monday. After Monday, I think people will have a sense of how things will be.

I am only concerned for you that if you take the pike, you will have a hard time getting in/out on the commuter rail. The subway runs much more frequently/later normally.
