Check out what happened in the mlive.com newstalk forum
Ok, so me and my man are happily posting here:

http://www.mlive.com/forums/newstalk/

and suddenly, neither of us can log in. Just at the same time, a bunch of posters come on with typical Puke names like "Nochoice4you" and "demjobkiller" and such, with one person making VERY weak arguments standing against. I feel like I'm watching a print version of a talking head show.

Meanwhile, those of us that have made logical arguments further down the page can't seem to be able to post.

Are the Mlive.com mods locking people out of the discussion based on their thinking and their effectiveness? It certainly seems so- almost as if the mods of that forum don't WANT intelligent discussion, and in fact will go out of their way to forcibly stifle it.

I think this is what happened when I made the other post about being "banned" from there. I didn't look closely that time, but you better believe if it happens again I'll be watching to see if the typical winger crowd suddenly, from nowhere and after their silence (until the coast is clear for a bit, maybe?), begins to post bullcrap while I can't post at all.

Ya freedom! USA! USA! USA!

Sheesh.

1. Hardly surprising, since repukes
are total and complete bullies, but absolute cowards if confronted with the truth.

2. We now have a definition for it
and an analysis.

Call this "thread-pushing."

On mlive.com, the threads are numbered and paged, but UNLIKE here, threads which receieve repeated posts are NOT pushed to the top. Other threads can and do push others ones out of the way.

What just happened was that those of us discussing Plame and other matters were summarily locked out for a time while certain parties (I'll assume it was three or four mods who took offense to truth) posted inane crap with a token shill, pushing what we said on those threads out of view so others couldn't see it.

This is disturbing. VERY disturbing.

3. It gets old pretty quick, arguing with the teenagers that make up the
heart and soul of the right wing party.
