Al Franken Spoke in Minneapolis Tonight
I went to see Al Franken tonight.

Franken started by saying he's pleased to have John Edwards on the ticket, and the response was rousing applause.

Franken said he also likes the other people Kerry considered, particularly Dick Gephardt. He said Dick Gephardt is widely liked by people who know him.

Franken urged people to work hard to defeat George W. Bush, quoting Paul Wellstone as saying, "the future belongs to those who are passionate and work hard."
