(WCCO) Minneapolis A robbery suspect was shot and killed after stabbing two Minneapolis police officers Monday morning, investigators said.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. in the 2000 block of Lyndale Avenue South between Franklin and Aldrich.

:scared:

on edit-the only little shop that I can think of is that Himalayan Tea shop on Franklin at Aldrich. It appears that the officers are ok.

3. There are helicopters swarming in the sky. It's surreal over in uptown.
Sheesh-8:15am. The Wedge has the all too frequent mugging, but THIS. This is so ghastly and violent. There is alot of foot traffic on Franklin, It's fortunate that no innocent by-stander was caught up in this. Just think about all of the people on their way to work. :scared:

6. I take it they mean Franklin between Lyndale and Aldrich
As there is no section of Lyndale between Franklin and Aldrich.

A very busy area during morning rush. Robber was pretty brazen and likely unbalanced.

7. It appears to have been on Lyndale at SW corner of Franklin & Lyndale
There is business there known as "Money Center", some sort of unbank I presume.

8. Thanks for the update.
Here's a link to the ST article. It makes more sense that robbery would take place at an "unbank" rather than a little tea shop.
