1. Yes and no
Dayton's seat is up, but he decided not to run. Announced back in March or Feb. so the locals can have plenty of time to get some one to run. Several are checking out the water, Amy Kloboshar (sp?) Hennepin Co Attorney and a couple of others are strong possibilities. Not sure of the names any more, I left MN in April.

Reps have anointed Rep. Mark Kennedy to run. Local party heads agreed to run him as soon as Dayton's announcement was made. PO'ed lots of folks.

5. Right when Dayton was starting to speak up
He fell down. I had just written him thanking him for standing up. I suspect he got the equivalent of an anthrax letter. I never seen anyone backpeddle so fast. Bummed me out. I have sent a donation to Patty Wetterling but hope it comes out democrat in any case.
At the National Night Out last week, I spoke to a lady who worked in Amy Klobucher's office and she said that they wanted a change. I mentioned Patty to a couple of ladies who thought she didn't have a chance. Now I could be wrong, but she did well against that Kennedy fella in his district and I would think that would transfer over.
Kennedy is just another hollow man in the coleman mold.
Please Minnesota don't let that guy win!
:argh:

7. Minnesota
Is definetely our most vulnerable seat. Maryland is the only one that comes close and Ben Cardin has to be considered a significant favorite over Michael Steele. If we can retain the Minnesota seat I definetely think its possible that we retain every single seat up for re-election. Don't let us down Minnesotans.
