So something that weekend could be doable, if I'm not comatose. Or later. I hope we are able to have an effect on the media event. I think it's past time to have an influence on the platform. Right now I hope we can generate an understanding that we're here, and we're not going away.

This Friday is my great-aunt's 93rd birthday, and we're all gathering at the great senior citizen hangout known as Pearson's Restaurant in Edina.

11. I'll go, but might need a ride after July 28

Unfortunately for me, my license will be suspended for 30 days from July 29 onward. I am one of those unfortunately souls who somehow got four traffic tickets in the space of one year. Unfortunately, it was mostly bad luck on my part, as most of them could have probably gone either way.

What really sucks is that I finally got a new job after six months, and I start on the 28th. The job's in St. Paul, and I live about a mile west of Downtown Minneapolis. I checked out the busses, and I can take those and get to work in about an hour. Oh well, at least I finally got a new job!
