Ch 5 reports State Rep Sen Becky Lourie joining Cindy Sheehan in TX |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 06:26 PM by kikiek
Ch 5 called it a WAMM camp. Of course having lost her son this year in Iraq she will provide much comfort to Cindy Sheehan.

3. I've got to get on with my life.... |

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-081605exercise_lat,0,6421778.story?coll=la-home-headlinesPresident Bush says he can't meet with Cindy Sheehan because he must get on with his life...all the while he endangers ours with his policies. To those who say Iraq is flypaper, I say, "you are right; it is America who has flown into it."

7. Yeah, it's easy for Dubya to say he needs to get on with |
|
his life. He hasn't lost a kid in Iraq.

Yeah, doing something like that would mean actually taking a stand on an issue. Ain't gonna happen.
Actually, it's probably better that they're not down there because it would just be used against Cindy and might take away from her message. Not that the "liberal" media would allow something like that to happen, mind you. :eyes:

9. I wish Becky Lourey would run for US Senate |
|
She has a lot more courage than Klobuchar & Wetterling, and would make the war a major issue of her candidacy, which it should be . . .

11. Ford Bell is the other |
|
Bell is the only one talking about need for a withdrawal plan. The other three pretty much stick to the we must stay the course line.
