Bachmann For Congress website is quite unimpressive
I forget if we have looked at it or not.

http://www.michelebachmann.com/main/

I have seen better designed websites, and that rotating pic in the top right is VERY annoying.

What is worse is her Issues page.

:puke:

"Michele is the leading fiscal and social conservative in the Minnesota State Senate. Michele loves our country and wants to see it remain free and strong. That is why she is running for Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District seat.

* The number one duty of the federal government is national defense
* We must protect our borders and defend our national sovereignty
* Government must reduce spending and taxes
* Your money and property belongs to you, not the government
* We must protect all human life from conception to natural death
* Supports traditional marriage between one man and one woman
* Education is about academics, not politically correct indoctrination
* Consistently supports second amendment rights"

I see nothing but restricting rights, corporate welfare, and a hypocritical stance on "human life". These are not stances, they are boilerplate talking points from above.

1. Bachmann was caught abusing her senate office--again
She has posted a press release prepared by her senate office on her congressional campaign website, claiming it was "prepared and paid for by Michele Bachmann for Congress."

See www.dumpbachmann.blogspot.com for more.

probably for playing a too partisan role at that position.

7. It's time for an ethics complaint against Bachmann
For lying on her website and abusing her office for campaign purposes.

5. Really disgusting
At this point, it's really revolting to see Republicans trying to use this same tired language to try to convince people that they're the good guys.

*1: Nope, wrong again

*2: Define "national sovereignty" correctly, Ms. Bachmann

*3: Government must raise revenue to provide for the common good, NOT "reduce spending and taxes". When shills like you say "reduce spending and taxes," what you're really saying is cut programs to help the underprivileged get a chance to get ahead.

*4: But your taxes pay for the police that keep you safe, the firefighters who defend your homes, the roads you drive on, and the social security you'll depend on someday, if we don't gut it like a fish first.

*5: Why, exactly? Please, tell me about your screaming, frothing, radio-happy preacher puppetmasters. Tell everyday Minnesotans all about them, Ms. Bachmann. See where it gets you.

*6: See answer above.

*7: Right-wing propaganda anyone? Recruiting brownshirts, are we, Ms Bachmann?

*8: Let me get this straight..you support the people who have been taking potshots at police and rescue crews in New Orleans?

For all the "values" Bachmann claims to uphold here, there's a simple, easy, and straight-forward way to tell her to go straight to hell, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200 or a Congressional Seat.
