Bush coming to Minnesota Aug 4 - place to be determined
Per MPR they're considering Mankato. (No doubt he heard it's the site of the largest mass hanging in America and it excites him.)

Strange how he's hitting outstate Minnesota and avoiding the Mpls/St Paul.

3. If he goes to Mankato
watch for him to "drop in" on the Vikings training camp. He hit the Browns camp yesterday and got lots of TV attention on the sports news throwing the football. He has to have some way for his unathletic self to appear manly. To quote the immortal Sheridan Whiteside "I may vomit!"

5. Yup it's Kato - stood in line for hours yesterday for tickets but had to
give up due to prior commitment. It was a nightmare. Two PCs trying to register 8000 people and hand out no more than 4 tix/person; one had to know name, address, b-date and SS# for anyone other than onesself to pick up more than one ticket, and IDs will be checked at the gate. Background checks being done on all, and son of local DFL politician denied a ticket right up front when Shrub supporters in crown complained to the wrong-wingers handing out the Royal Passes to See His Chimperial Worthlessness.
Guess I will be in the "Free Speech Zone" where I and all the other sensible people will be out of sight and out of (mind??) for the Chimp...
(not sure if that phrase applies when he really hasn't got one)

10. I keep hearing stories like this....
about non-Repubs being denied tickets to see our beloved pRez. Isn't this a new development? I thought the idea was that everyone had the right to hear the pResident. After all, we are the taxpayers paying his salary and he is supposed to be representing us.

Grannylib, have you considered writing a letter to the Strib mentioning your experience? I think most people would be outraged by this!

I also read something recently about someone trying to get tickets to see Bushwah, and being told that she had to sign something promising to vote for him....!?!

9. *lol* the Big Loser with the perennial losers - very fitting, I say, hehe.
Hope the little imbecile chokes at the end of the season the way the VikQueens always seem to do!
Sorry, just not a Vik fan.
Love the T-Wolves, though!

8. Garden City here - any idea where the "Free Speech Zone" will be
established? My daughter Sarahbellum and I want to go. We have bunches of signs made up, and I just got back from the BE County Fair; cleaned out the DFL booth just about, of Kerry stickers & other parapernalia!
