I've looked around to see if there |

was any mention of this, but I couldn't find one so I hope it is not a duplicate. Humble apologies if it is.
Yesterday we were in St. Cloud and stopped at Mexican Village Too. We were looking out a window and wondering what is going on out there. We kept watching and yes, that is what we were seeing ... a man dressed up in a superman outfit, big red cape and he was holding a giant American flag. He would just stand on the corner like he was ready to fly off at a moments notice. What is that all about? We were going to go talk to him because we normally do things like that, but it just didn't seem like a good idea. I suppose he is harmless, but I know that I'm always too trusting.

he was wearing a superman outfit, red cape, a short towel like skirt with the american flag on that or something like that I didn't look too closely *blush*, and he had a big flag tacked on to the water hydrant. He stood with his fists at his sides. He had a black neatly trimmed beard and in spite of his circumstances he did not appear to be a nut. (Am I'm sure it is not due the two margueritas I had).

3. St. Cloud is a scary, scary place. |

Rabidly anti-union and anti-immigrant. SCSU has had problems with racism on campus. It's a little bit of Alabama right in the middle of MN.

and you in all actuality are being very kind! We lived there for 8 years. I worked for the City which was not so bad as other places. There was a big hoopla going on about the Planned Parenthood Center and so I was not surprised when one day a 55 or so year old man came in when it was just me in the office. He acted uncomfortable and hesitant and asked me in a jerky, beat-around-the-bush way if I knew where in St. Cloud he could get information on "things" cuz his girlfriend was pregnant. I knew right away what was going on and played along. I suspect my young age made him think I was stupid or something. I told him that I was absolutely sure there was no place in St. Cloud that would give him that kind of information. I said he would probably have to go to the cities cuz he was not going to get help with that in St. Cloud. The look on his face was priceless. I bet I screwed him up good *giggle*. Stupid old bastard.
