No unemployment extension money

This may not be news to some of you, but my sister's unemployment is about to run out and she was told there is no unemployment extention money. Of course, Pawlenty was on TV this weekend bragging about Minnesota's unemployment rate! My sis has been looking for permanent work for almost 2 years. She's an admin with extensive experience and excellent qualifications. She's been on many interviews but no luck. Even the temp jobs have dried up for her. If anyone in the Twin Cities area knows of a company looking for an experienced admin or office manager, please pm me!

Funny how things happen-- 24 hours after I posted this my sis got a call about a temp-to-hire job where she is now happily employed!

3. She has my sympathy...mine ran out too, and I am working for less than

half of what I was making on unemployment.
Young America Corp outsourced several hundred jobs to Canada, mine among them, and yeah, I got to train my replacement. Fun.
