So my friends and I just got back from a road trip and it used to be when we were out of state

and someone would ask where we were from they'd respond by mentioning what they'd heard of Minnesota winters or, for a while, they'd mention Jessie Ventura - or maybe one of our other politicians (most of whom we could take some pride in). But, on this trip, every single person mentioned the bridge first thing - a lot asked if any more bridges had fallen down. Nice to be known as "The Crumbling State".
