Michele Bachmann gives false hopes to tornado victims
Once again, Michele Bachmann is making promises she can't keep.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, who visited the site, issued a statement which said, “I will do all I can to ensure that the full array of federal aid and resources is available to the families, businesses, farms, and communities affected.”

But Timmy the Tool says no federal aid is likely to be forthcoming:

"There's a variety of disaster programs, but the main one is through FEMA, and they have thresholds about what level of damage and type of damage has to be demonstrated before the eligibility for their programs kick in. A lot of that has to do with damage to public infrastructure," explained Pawlenty.

Because most of the damage destroyed private homes on private property, it's not likely to meet that criteria. Instead, private insurance will pay to clean up and rebuild most of Hugo.

Watch Bachmann continue to try to milk this tragedy to promote herself. What a fraud.

1. She should have consulted with Pawlenty before she said that
But most of her recent votes would have gone against it (her and Kline) on some type of "anti-tax" statement.

:hi: To Jason Lewis' producers, plug us anytime.

2. If your home is ever destroyed by a natural disaster, pray that it happens in an election year.

you're probably more apt to get some help - provided most of those affected along with you fall into the "right voter demographic".
