|
message from Vets for Peace of what Ellison's office had to say:
Representative Ellison's office today reported that: Thank you for contacting Congressman Ellison's District Office. Let me answer your questions below:
1. The congressman cosponsored H. Res 333 (To impeach Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors).
2. The congressman cosponsored H. Res 589 (Directing the Committee on the Judiciary to investigate whether Alberto R. Gonzales, Attorney General of the United States, should be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors).
3. The congressman did not cosponsor H. Res 1258 (Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors); however he voted yes to H. Res1258. The final vote was: Passed, 251-166, with 16 not voting.
