2 more wks till National Veterans for Peace Convention
You don't have to be a Veteran to attend.
HOpe you let your Veteran Friends and family know about this National Convention.

Check out the Workshop and Speakers. Veterans of all ages come to this event.

This 2008 National Convention will feature Jeremy Scahill, Scott Ritter, Clyde Bellecourt, Becky Lourey, Rick Hanson, James Yee, and Father Roy Bourgeouis

The 2008 VFP Convention is hosting a special half-day seminar on organizing for justice for Vietnamese and U.S. Agent Orange victims Wednesday August 27, 2008 from 1 to 5 pm. This is ONE DAY BEFORE the Thursday start of the main VFP conference

2. I would think so.
Just found out that the Iraq/Afgan Veterans/Military will have separate breakout sessions to deal with their issues and priorites.

Spouses, friends, children, and like me people who have worked with Vets and who cares about Vets also go to the convention or part of it.
