Has Coleman done anything besides suck up to *? |
|
I realized today that he actually hasn't. I've never heard of him look out for Minnesota ever, just give the party line spin when he's quoted. He's probably raised more funds for Republicans than he has brought money to Minnesota. And whenever I email Dayton's office I usually get a reply, even though it's usually a form letter. I've never gotten any sort of reply or acknowledgement from him, although I doubt he even reads anything anyway, he just already knows how he'll vote and what he'll do. He is such a worthless excuse for a senator it's driving me crazy.

I had to consult with 3 financial advisors in Minneapolis, one of whom was heading over to the Coleman fundraiser.
They're such idiots politically. And of course, because WE (my colleague and I) are professionals, we were unable to make substantive arguments against Repubs.
And we talked the day after the Bush press conference where he said he couldn't remember any mistakes - and one of them said, "I'm proud of Bush. He's honest."
I had to take a shower after that.

2. I'm sure he has sucked up to more people |
|
than bush. I was wondering if anyone else heard tell of his doings. I thought he was going to be close to the president and could get many ideas that are good for Minnesota right to the top guy. It seems he was a bigshot for about 3 months and then they drop him like an old shoe. The only things I read about him doing were things that didn't have anything to do with Minnesota.
Do you think he has any chance of getting re-elected? I kinda don't think so, but people are funny lately.

3. When I write or call his office ... |
|
I always receive a form letter stating, "I support pResident bush and I support the troops." It doesn't matter what issue I am considering, I get the same response.

I've had the exact same responses and they don't seem to quite connect with whatever I was writing or calling about.
But, Coleman ALWAYS makes it clear that his viewpoint just happens to exactly match *Bush's.

Nope. Can't say as he has. Sucking up to Chimpy and... no, that's all she wrote.
Arsehole... Coleman is to Wellstone as Clarence Thomas is to Thurgood Marshall.

...as a flip-flop artist. Fuggin' Normie is the king of the flip flop.
switched parties changed his mind on drilling ANWR (remember him saying this would be one issue where he said "Mr. President, you're wrong!"?
I feel like sending him some KY.

10. He supports diddly little stuff like the "don't call" list |
|
and the "rights" of music downloaders and other trivial feelgood stuff so that he can win some brownie points to balance out his huge negatives.

9. Senator Bush? Of course not |
|
At least he's keeping his campaign promise to back the (no, I WON'T use the P word to describe Bush).
I shudder for the idiots who thought that having a senator be a rubber stamp for the Bush Regime was good.
We've got to boot Senator Bush out.

11. During the campaign, he WAS opposed to ANWR drilling... |
|
but, wouldn't you know it, he's since "changed his mind" (aka "flip-flopped").
He's 99% useless, if you know what I mean.

and he'll suck up to whomever's tit is the most convenient and beneficial to him.
Sorry if that conjures up any unpleasant images but I calls it how I sees it.
