Some years back we lived in Des Moines and the office had one of those gag gifts party. And one woman received very nice woolen scarf and hat with the team colors. She blushed and everyone started laughing hysterically. She was a fan of the Iowa State team, and the gag gift had the colors of the U of Iowa's (Hawkeyes?)
