I just got my college bulletin and saw that Katie Sieben was elected this fall to the MN House of Representatives. No other info given. Anyone have something to report about her stands on the issues?

1. She was re-elected, actually.

She's great. She busts her ass on labor issues. I think she's awesome.

2. Article said she was class of '99

and she has already been elected to more than one term? That's great! She sounds like a go-getter. I was long graduated in '99, but wanted to know more about her.

3. I did a little work on Katie's Campaign

mostly just putting up lawn signs in South Saint Paul. I like Katie a lot and I think she'll serve her constituents well.

4. I met her in Duluth at the state convention

She was with my state rep, so I got a chance to chat with her. She's good-- great, I daresay. She comes from a long line of good DFLers, too, so I would not be suprised to see her in the state house leadership before long.

5. Yeah, I met her at a MN Women for Kerry event - I like her.

She's not in my district, but she was more than willing to answer some questions I had - which, I admit, had absolutely NOTHING to do with what the event was about. ;P
