Statement from the DFL on Dayton's decision |
|
St. Paul - The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party today issued the following statement regarding Minnesota Senator Mark Dayton's announcement that he will not seek re-election.
"Mark has always lead from his heart, and his decision today is no different. He has been a humble and effective voice of courage, conviction and true compassion for the people of Minnesota. His commitment to better health care for all Americans will be his lasting legacy in the Senate," said Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Chair Mike Erlandson. "Mark has always been a true friend of the Minnesota DFL Party, and many proud friends and supporters stand with him today."

Canada for their prescription drugs. Never took one dime in wages from the Senate. I don't know of anyone else who ever gave up their salary.
