Pleasant surprise in the parking lot
Byerly's parking lot in Minnetonka is not exactly a bastion of liberalism. During last year, on a weekend, it was full of monster cars with CW signs.

Thus, I was smiling when I walked to the door and saw a Saturn SUV with an Air America Minnesota AM950 sticker, and right next to it, a Saab with a slash W circle.

1. Don't those always brighten your day?
Down here in Rochester I am stunned by the numbers us who still have our Kerry stickers.

2. Pasadena and South Pasadena (CA) are filled with anti-* signs and stickers
there are signs still in people's yards. God, I'll never leave Pasadena.

4. Yep! What I like about living in the city
Lots of K/E bumperstickers, too.

5. There were more Dem lawn signs out in this area last year...
than in any previous election year I can remember. I moved to Plymouth in 1991. Of course, there are still a few stubborn neighbors with "Liberate Iraq" signs out as well.

6. Even better is getting positive feedback or inquiries about
my own bumber stickers, out here in suburbia :) A number of people have stated how they LOVE my "God bless everyone, no exceptions" bumper sticker. Yes it's good to see like minded people.

I'm still amazed sometimes at how strongly I react to W bumper stickers though. You'd think it'd have worn off. One even might think a nice liberal girl like me shouldn't have thoughts like that ;) But as of yet I haven't rammed anyone off the road... so I guess thats something LOL.

7. Good signs, for sure. I want an AARMn AM950 bumpersticker!!!!
Better go over to their site, which DUer Oreo created. . . he said he was going to get something up regarding bumper stickers!

Tempering the news of seeing AARMn and W stickers, last week a huge black truck passed me (Hwy 55,Plymouth) with not just a BC sticker but one saying 'Jeb Bush 2008.'

8. you'd be surprised
I'm working at a law office in Minnetonka now, and my personal observation is that liberal messages outnumber the Cult of W by about 2 to 1 out in that neck of the woods. If I recall correctly, Kerry actually got more votes in Edina and Minnetonka in 2004 than B*sh.

9. Go to REI in Bloomington sometime.
Every sticker I saw in the parking lot (I went there to buy a nice backpack) was either K/E04 or Anti-smirk. A beatiful sight.

When driving, I've noticed a lot of drivers have kept their K/E stickers on. A LOT.

10. Yes, I know. Spouse goes there more often
and have observed that REI parking lot is the place to see Kerry Edwards stickers.

And, I think, Cabella, which is going to open in Maple Grove, with a generous handout from the city, is Bush Country.. But, hey, they don't like government handout except when it is they..
