Bachman introduces Shiavo bill
I found this on a anti-Bachman blog.

Senator Bachmann and Representative Vandeveer are sponsoring a bill called the "Nutrition and Hydration Provision Presumption". If I am reading their bills correctly, they would interfere directly in the ability of a family and medical professionals to make appropriate end-of-life decisions. Having witnessed the unnecessary suffering of my terminally ill father this past winter due to disregard for his living will by religiously motivated medical professionals, I deeply resent this attempt to intrude in one of the most private and painful decisions a family must face. Please do what you can to make certain these bills never see the light of day. These bills are arrogant and presumptuous efforts by Bachmann and Vandeveer to impose their religious values on everyone. Please stop these narrow fundamentalist, thugs from taking over our lives. Their obvious political exploitation of this issue is disgusting.

The bills in question are SF2184 and HF2369.

1. Who the hell votes for that whack job?
Michelle Bachman is the lowest form of life on the planet. Why do these right wingers think they know what's best for everybody? How do you get to have that kind of hubris?

2. Right wing fanatics
want the government to introduce theocracy, where a person only dies under God's will. They wish the dying to suffer until all functions cease to exist. Thank God we are kinder to our animals than this.

Why aren't U.S. citizens allowed to die without pain when the disease is terminal? The time for humane euthanasia has come.

3. If they REALLY wanted people to die as God wills
they wouldn't hook up the machines to begin with, they would allow them to die naturally...(but there isn't years and years of money in that)

4. Has she done anything MEANINGFUL for the people she represents?
I am serious. She appears to have done nothing but the same old agenda that does not help out her constitiutents at all. I highly doubt Stillwater is all unified in her stances.

I just see her slacking off for issues that are overall pretty meaningless to most people.

5. Someone needs to remove Bachman's feeding tube,

NOTE to Agent Mike: This is a poor attempt a humor and IN NO WAY advocates or condones violence toward Bachman or any other human being.

6. Don't worry. Becky Lourey chairs the Health & Family Safety Cmtte
where this bill was referred after being introduced.

This peice of shit legislatiobn may not even get a hearing.

Bachmann and Vandeveer are just playing games with the extreme right wing wacko nut jobs. Getting their hopes up with no chance of passage.

I would write some letters, though.
