Ohioans contact Rep Bob Ney about Voter Verifiable Electronic Voting
Dear Friends,
If you are concerned as I am about the implementation of electronic voting
machines that DO NOT offer a voter verifiable paper audit trail then I
encourage you to send the following letter to Representative Bob Ney. He
is the chairman of the committee that is holding up HB2239, a bill that would mandate a voter verifiable paper audit trail. It makes no difference what state you live in.

If you are unfamiliar with this extremely important national issue please
visit http://www.caseohio.org/CaseOhio/inthenews.htm

His email address is: bobney@mail.house.gov
His web site is:

http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/cgi-bin/newmemberbio.cgi?lang=&member=OH18&site=ctc&address=&city=&state=OH&zipcode=&plusfour

Be sure to include your name and contact information.

Thank you for sending the letter.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO IS INTERESTED IN HONEST,
FAIR, RELIABLE AND VOTER VERIFIABLE ELECTIONS.

He replies that he understands my concerns and if, in the future, he can do anything to address them he will. He totally ignors the fact that he has the ability to move the issue forward.

Are you in Lake? And are they using electronic this year? Get out of town and vote absentee.

And I am going to send that letter. cmd

edit: letter sent - and he is my rep.

4. Lake County bought the Sequoia EVMs a few years ago
And, no, they do not have any sort of hard copy record. I plan to vote absentee. I will be doing something political that day.
