Flying anti-abortion banner |
|
You see them at sporting events all the time. Those single engine planes pulling advertising banners above the crowds. Saturday on my way up to Cleveland from southwest Summit county I spotted one above I-77. He was so high that the sign he was trailing was almost impossible to make out. But when I was exactly next to me I finally made it out. A huge picture of a 10 week abortion.
Told a co-worker about seeing it and he siad he saw the same plane over I-71 SW of Cleveland.
All I can say is, what a bunch of MORANS.

1. They'll fly anything - maybe we should point out to the "sponsors" |
|
that the same plane is promoting the beginning of the "abortion" - Christie's Cabaret.
Ah, but their "morals" will allow the contradiction . . .
I want to get a good bow and arrow when I see that plane.

Then they can help take care of all the needy kids who actually need help to survive. For the money it probably took to make the banner and rent the plane a lot of kids probably could have been fed and clothed.
I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I've had my belly full of these people. Sorry.

So I'm going to hell, if I'm not excommunicated first.
This election has really caused me to critically think through this issue. And the bottom line is, I can't support making abortion totally illegal. And I'm tired of all the guilt trips pro-birthers want to inflict when there are thousands of poor and needy children right in their own backyards. I'm sure some help. But those I know who are loud on the pro-life issue are strangely silent when it comes to health, job, and economic issues. And improving those three things will be a huge start in reducing the rate of abortion. But that takes actual WORK, and it's SO much easier renting a plane and a banner for a day and exploiting a dead baby.
After awhile people tune out gross pictures and it ultimately discredits whatever message is trying to come across. I've been told these people are in the minority. I hope so, but there are times I believe they may be as mainstream as they come.
