Strange situation in Ohio (really? wow.)

PATRICK J. O'MALLEY (D) 297046 54.69%

TIM O'MALLEY (R) 246073 45.31%

But the story is not that. The Dem defeated the Repub.

The story is the constant painting of the Dem O'Malley as a wife abuser and now, a possessor of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY.

Hmm, especially when you consider that a large number of "child sexual abuse" and such cases are leveled against somebody when a divorce gets messy.

Hence, the first and second O'Malley - the divorced couple.

The third O'Malley - Tim, advertised as "The Good O'Malley" (oh, really? which?) gets defeated in the election. Less than two weeks after the loss, hmm, a story comes out that Pat O'Malley is under investigation for possession of "kiddie porn". If true, out he goes.

But wait . . . There are calls for him to step down as County Recorder. Not after any actual finding of guilt, but just on "the principle", since he's being "accused".

Well, now, if Cleveland were in Texas, and Patrick O'Malley were Tom DeLay, I think that the issue would come out different, and that the rules (if they were there in the first place) would be revised in a way to keep him in office no matter what.

1. Pat is an obnoxious, combative person

There has been more than enough evidence of his domestic violence and bullying of his wives. Pat has also been abusive to many others, including those who work for him. He often repeats nasty lies and rumors about others. He's a really sick guy who needs help.

Pat does need to resign, he's a disgrace to the party.
