1. I'm transferring to OSU next year
from Wright State.

We don't even have a chapter of the College Democrats here.

3. Do you live on campus?
The times I've visited OSU I wasn't able to look at residence halls, and I want to know what they're like. Specifically, if they have singles available (I can't stand roomates). If not, I might have to find an apartment off-campus.

How big is the College Democrats chapter there? Man, I can't imagine going to a school where people care about stuff beyond themselves.:7

4. i live on campus
in bradley hall, the south dorms. meetings get an average of 20-30 people (many more who dont come every time), though i havent been in a while (i'm more active in the OSUACLU and Students for Sensible Drug Policy).

The dorms are decent; they have some apartment style ones that i believe have singles, they're for honors though. Off campus isnt too bad, though it would be best to look NOW... places close to campus go fast

oh, one other thing; campus voted kerry 2-1 ;)

7. I'm in the MCDB program...
Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I'm working in a molecular virology lab over in Rightmire Hall, West Campus.

I really am out of the OSU mainstream. :>

8. i have a class over there next quarter
speech and hearing 714 (intro to sign language). i then have a psych 300 class at hitchcock on north campus 12 minutes later :scared:

im going to be hella good at sprinting by the end of spring quarter. i could take CABS, but i just know that one of the stops between would be a driver change stop

9. Don't worry about CABS.
I've NEVER had a driver change going FROM campus TO West Campus on the Campus Loops, and only one driver change on Campus Loop North going TO main campus, near the Ohio Union. Catch it around Neil and 12th and you'll be fine. The route they take is a bit roundabout, but what CABS route isn't?

Getting from West to North in 12 minutes will be tricky, yeah. Unless there's a CABS bus RIGHT THERE when you exit class, you're probably best off sprinting or (better yet) using a bike.

11. Just checked campus map...
Hitchcock is right off Woody Hayes. Makes it MUCH simpler, since Campus Loop North goes straight down Woody Hayes, past the new Knowlton archtecture building. Every 10 minutes, supposedly. There's no driver-change stop until it turns down College Road, toward the union.

I'd give it a try once or twice and see if you can consistently make it to class on time. You might just have a shot, if you don't get too unlucky with the busses. Just be *SURE* to take Loop North, NOT Loop South, when leaving West Campus!

13. I'm not even a student yet, and I'm already getting invited to parties-
I got an email today inviting me to a frat party on campus at OSU.

Was it a mistake to put my email address on my application?

14. i'm not sure how a frat got your email
i'm guessing it's a frat related to your major? that's the only reason that i can see for a frat getting your email from your application
