Repuke meltdowns in Ohio (?)
Hmm, Kenneth Blackwell Jr. is calling for Speaker of the house Larry Householder to step down due to investigations. KBJr is still trying to benefit his standing by trying to eliminate the 1cent sales tax increase.

In East Cleveland, the Democratic Party Mayor earlier this year (or sometime last year), shortly after winning his election handily, switched from Dem to Republican. His reasoning was that it would be easier to get money "for the community" as a Repuke than a Dem in this atmosphere. The "atmosphere" is normally Dem NE Ohio, bled dry since the Governor and Senate have been pure Repubs since 1999 (after Glenn retired), the House reps were mostly Repuke, the State Senate and State House are controlled by Repukes also, and the other corners of the state tend to be Repuke-leaning.

Speaking of the Ohio Senators, seems that Mike DeWine, in power since 1995, has great influence on the ethics of his staff. Just enter the word "Washingtonienne" into your favorite search engine and check out the blog. See what she does for the money, honey. Aside from working for DeWine, since she is now fired.

Yep, that's those "family values" and "moral" Repubs.

1. Seems everybody on Taft's Christmas Card List...
Is being investigated for influence peddling, and let's no forget Joe Deters and his $50,000 campaign contribution that was laundered through the Hamilton County Republican Party (of which he was the Chairman at the time). I swear that guy would try to steal a hot stove.

I love watching the four of five top Republicans bash each other mercilessly as they try to get in line to be the next governor. It'll just alienate the independent voters -- as if their god-awful performance in office wasn't enough -- and help the Democrats in 2006.

4. Yes, Larry does a good job of editing material
There is a huge amount of material to read on the internet. It is nice to have him gleaning out good articles. I wonder what he pays to list those.
