3.49 a gallon.....

and rising. Now I have to decide whether to buy gas this week or feed myself and my elderly mother. Gods...I hate the Shrub.

2. A LOT more people are responsible...

ALL presidents from 1980 onward are responsible for our gas needs. As are the corporations involved in automobiles.

It's about profits. Not the longevity of society.

Where did you see $3.49/gal? As of lunch today, most of the stations in the tri-state have gone up to $3.09/gal, but I haven't seen any higher than that. In fact, I filled up for $2.55/gal at a Norwood BP this morning.

they have now lowered to 3.09....but all the stations around me are out of gas.

15. $3.09 in Cambridge

Jumped from $2.49 to $3.09 in one night. For some reason I think that should be labeled as thievery. Rumor is that gas stations in my area will be out of gas by this weekend. Which sucks for motorists because we sit right on the crossroads of Interstates 70 & 77.

17. The price of gas has gone down......but for how long........

Well I got some gas today for $2.96 in Norwalk. Still a rip off!

Oh and by the way, I'm glad I've found this web site and forum. It is definitely an honor to be a member. I am glad there are places like this (something which our country needs).
