"Allegheny Forest" is the Counties in Which Allegheny National Forest Exists.
"Northern State Forest" are the counties in the North Central part of the state where Various State Forests exist that together equal or exceeds Allegheny National Forest. Sometimes these are referred to a the "Endless Mountains" for the Appalachian Mountain Chain turns 90 degrees in Northern Pennsylvania. In Southern Pennsylvania the Appalachian Mountain Chain takes up about 1/3 of the distance between the West Virginia and New Jersey State lines, while the Appalachian Mountain Chain STARTS at the New Jersey/ New York Line in Northern Pennsylvania and continues 3/4 the way across the state. This is the main reason the first roads, railroads and Canals went through Southern Pennsylvania. Even today most truckers perfer the Pennyslvania Turnpike (Southern Pennsyvania Route) to Interstate 80 (Northern Pennsylvania Route) do to having to go through less mountians.
"Blue Mountain Ridge" are counties West and North of Blue Mountain. Blue Mountain is the the first Mountain Ridge West and North of Harrisburg in the Appalachian Mountain Chain. This is the first real divide in Pennsylvania.
"Northern Tier Counties" are those counties along the New York Border.
People, lets get the sombody from some new COUNTIES. I know most of them are out in the sticks, but some of those counties do have TELPEHONES (Or at least drums and/or telegraph lines).
Anybody knows anyone from Pa who is NOT on the list? If you do lets get them on the list.
We have only THREE from Philadelphia County? The last time I heard they were more than THREE Democrats in the City of Brotherly Love. Pittsburgh/Allegheny County has TEN members and Westmoreland has TEN (Both are in the Pittsburgh Region of the state) so we should have MORE than THREE from Philly.
Philly has to outdo Buck (5), State College/Centre County (3), Chester (5), Cumberland (3), Franklin (3), Montgomery (5), and lets get some people from the Rural Counties... We want people from ALL over the state not just the urban areas.
