Governor Howard Dean to address Gettysburg College Oct. 27
Former presidential candidate and Vermont Governor Howard Dean will deliver the annual Blavatt Lecture on Wednesday, October 27th.

Inaugurated in 1996, the Blavatt Lecture Series annually brings to the Gettysburg College campus an individual whose professional experiences provide a unique perspective on the American political system.

The event will take place at 7:30pm in the Ballroom of the College Union Building (CUB) on West Lincoln Avenue. It is free and open to the public.

A large crowd is expected, so arrive early to be sure to get a seat.

Congratulations to Gettysburg College and the College Democrats for landing Governor Dean! I personally ache that I have a council meeting at that precise time and that since it's the end of the year, it's a budget meeting I cannot miss. Ironically enough, the League of Women Voters also scheduled the county's only... -ONLY- local state house/senate candidates forum for that night as well. All things being equal this would be great. But between not being able to attend myself and being a media vaccuum for that days news as well, all I want to do is scream... Yeearrrgh! - Herb
