My letter to Jerry Bowyer

On your show today, you talked about Matt Drudge's claim that a reporter planted the controversial question that Specialist Thomas Wilson asked Secretary Rumsfeld. Exactly how does one "plant" a question in a soldier? Was Wilson conned, coerced, or forced by a reporter to ask Rumsfeld the question about vehicles not being armored? Of course not. Wilson, like any other soldier, is a grown man who asked Rumsfeld exactly what he wanted to ask. Moreover, even if Wilson's question did come from a reporter, no one forced the other soldiers present to applaud the question.

Although I'm a Democrat and I generally disagree with your views, I have always said that your show is a refreshing departure from the more typical right wing talk shows which are basically pathetic clones of the Rush Limbaugh show. Today, I can't make that claim.

I only listened to him when he was on in the mornings as I waited for Lynn's show. Now that he's in the afternoon I never listen. He's just another right wing hypocrite. You know if this soldier had complained under Clinton Jerry wouldn't have cared if a reporter had coached the soldier.
