Just a sad note today
:( I like to sleep with my shades up in the window by my bed because it is a beautiful view in the am when the birds come to the water and the trees are in bloom. I can even watch the dogs play. It is so peaceful.
My cat woke me up early this am. He had been staring out the window like he does.
He kept meowing and pawing me. He butted me with his head. Was a real annoyance. This went on for at least an hour. I went and checked his food and water, although it is my other cat that wakes me up when things aren't full. It was very out of his character to do this.
I petted him and hoped he would lie down. He wouldn't. So finally, I locked him out of my room.
When I got up, I went outside. Little Bunny Foo Foo's cage was open and she was gone. The gate to the back yard was also open and the dogs were gone. I started looking for all of them.
I found Foo Foo dead on the ground outside of the front gate.
There wasn't a mark on her. There wasn't a speck of blood on her.
I have no idea what happened to her. But I am guessing when the dogs got out they chased her and she died of a heart attack.
The dogs were down the street and they came back.
In the sadness, I am soo amazed at my cat. He knew something was going on outside and tried to let me know.:(

5. Thats very good advice, Bronco69.
animals communicate to us, in various ways. It's smart to pay attention.

I am so sorry about your bunny, Horse. It hurts to lose a beloved pet.
