when it went up. Entered the contest to pick the slogan, mine wasn't picked but I did send a little money to help pay for it. Great, isn't it?

3. Did this billboard help y'all raise money...or membership?

Anyone know approximately how much it costs to rent billboard space? I love this idea! Just trying to get more specifics so I can see if I could sell something like this to groups in my area. I think a billboard like this would be a huge success here in New Orleans. I also wonder about the backlash or any repercussions to the billboard company, ect.

4. Billboards are cheap.

About $500 / month for a little one in some parts of Dallas. We had about 12 up around the election that just said "Vote for a positive future for Dallas county -- vote Democrat."

And hey, we elected 4 Democratic judges and a Democratic sherriff!
