Cindy Sheehan will be in Houston THURSDAY 09/01
Here's the text of an e-mail I received earlier tonight.

Hope to meet some of my fellow Houstonian DUers there Thursday night!

BTW, this is not too far from where our Harris County Dem Party HQ is located.

3. I hope to be there
It's cutting it a bit close with work and how far it is, but I'll try to make it if I can.

5. I know you'll give her and the families a great welcome
I'm so proud of Austin tonight. We had a fabulous turnout and rally for the families. We even had "The Flatlanders" comprised of Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Butch Hancock do a rare reunion for the tour bus. Senator Gonzalo Barrientos welcomed them to Austin and my Rep. Elliot Naishtat also said some kind words. Eliza Gilkyson and Dave Rovics sang as well. Heck Cindy even said she may move here and run for Mayor.

Brief story here:

You dig deep in Houston for those collection buckets, they need gas money for their trip. And they'll need housing too. I'm housing a couple here tonight.

Let's show them the big hospitality that is Texas!

Good luck Houston!!

6. I'll be there with Lisa0825 and WHD
and hopefully about a thousand others.

(I'll have my "Arlington South" shirt on; on the back it has Margaret Mead's "Never Doubt" quote.)

7. That's what I'm wearing!
A different kind of woman would have a problem with that.
