Gas gossip
Edited on Tue Aug-30-05 10:38 PM by silverlib
filled up at a Shell station today in Austin and the clerk said her boss told her that there is an "internal memo" stating gas will be $3.50 per gallon by Friday and possibly 4.50 per gallon by the end of the year.

6. I got a little electric bike/scooter from Target last summer
around $300. Main problems are it needs a second battery to be able to go much distance and that is $100 more, and the pedals are pretty useless when the battery runs down. I'd check into regular electric bicycles, am planning on doing this sometime.

8. Forgot to say that premium in the Dallas area
is already up to $2.98-2.99. The cheapest I have seen in my area south of Dallas is $2.89 for premium. It's disgusting really. This is really a shock to the wallet. Man, how I wish I didn't have to commute 70 miles round trip to work.
