I'm a liberal and I respect the constitution ! contact Cornyn
Quoting Cornyn, early Reuters report suggested "liberals" do not "respect the words and meaning of the Constitution"

A January 9 Reuters article on the first day of the Senate Judiciary Committee's confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr. reported that Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) "said he supported Alito for the same reason many oppose him -- his refusal to embrace a liberal agenda." The article then quoted Cornyn's opening statement, which read: "I want judges ... who will respect the words and meaning of the Constitution, the laws enacted by Congress, and the laws enacted by state legislatures." Reuters' juxtaposition of the term "liberal agenda" and Cornyn's statement has the effect of promoting Cornyn's view that a "liberal agenda" is inconsistent with a respect for the Constitution.

PLEASE EMAIL HIM AND TELL HIM YOU ARE A CONSTITUENT AND YOU WILL DO EVERYTHING IN YOU POWER TO GET HIM OUT OF OFFICE !

1. Sen J.C.
I've been to this guys website several times, and I swear I can't find an email address anywhere on that website. Plenty of addresses, but not one simple email address. I'm I missing something, is it hiding in plain site?

I would love to email this guy and let him know how I feel, so if time permits and you can find his address please send me the direct link. Thanks in advance.

4. Unlike Kay Bailey
who sends out volumes of drivel, Cornyn is just too damned good to respond to his constituents. I've gotten to where I correspond with people whose votes I can possibly influence.

Kay at one time was not so lockstep. And Cornyn did some things that I approved of when he was on the Supreme Court of Texas.

I think both of them had to sell their souls and children's souls to BushCo to stay and play. Not that they had a problem with that apparently.

6. thanks for the list cunningb
Senator box turtle never responds, but that doesn't mean we give up. A phone call or personal letter is best. Yes it takes a couple of weeks for letters to get though, so get cracking right now.
