My racist homeowner's association will be getting a |
|
phone call from me tomorrow. The latest newsletter assumes that recent break-ins my townhome complex is due to people who are "hurricaine evacuees" who "spend a lot of time loitering on the street across from us" and implies that they are responsible for "break-ins and thefts" The newsletter falsely states that crime in Houston has increased by 70%. Does anyone know the true statistics on this?

but you'd have to spend a lot of time coming up with numbers.
I think 70% is a very steep figure.
Is it your homeowner's association or the management company who put out the letter? If the management company then perhaps they'd like to help the people out by giving them a maintenance or landscaping job? If your homeowner's association, well it figures - Dan Patrick probably wrote the letter for them :9

2. Blame our police chief |

Crime apparently has increased. Not sure about the percentage or whether it's really verifiable. Or what's really behind it. The problem is we have a police chief who has publicly linked the increase in crime to the evacuees from New Orleans. And of course all the "white knights" in their bedsheets picked up on it. Make sure you contact the NAACP so they are aware of the newsletter that was sent to the homeowners by the HOA. You might also contact the Anti-Defamation League. You're probably wasting your time calling your HOA. Let someone else call them. Like the NAACP.
There has been some criminal activity, primarly in Southwest Houston, related to known criminals from New Orleans. And that of course became the "crime wave" according to our police chief. Who should know better but apparently doesn't.
Your tea party apparently was fun as well as successful. I love tea parties. I bet the Bushes don't. All the more reason to have another one?
