5. There was a voter last week who couldn't vote for Katy...

I'm working at an early voting site for the primary, and there was a woman who came in just to vote for Katy. Turns out she didn't live in her district, and we were not an early voting site for the special election. (It can get confusing around here when you have a special election and primary going on at the same time.) So she cast an empty ballot.

There's a wannabe vote for you out there, Katy! (And I'm another!)

I voted for her the best way I could. By sending her a little money and contributing to the bus of volunteers that went out to help from Austin at 6:00 am this morning.
