1. Glad you saw it BabylonSister - my interview was the first one
they did so I figured they wouldn't show it, then there it was.

13. My friend who was also interviewed recorded it on DVD
I'm going to try to meet up with her Tuesday and copy the clip.

3. I sure did; when I heard they were covering the story, I started
looking for anyone familiar, and there you were! When did this get organized? I hadn't heard anything about it. And how was the turnout, something that's hard to tell on the tube.
Anyway, ya done good!

4. To be honest, it wasn't well organized at all. I participated
with Code Pink, but that woman with the megaphone was the organizer and the turnout was disappointing. It wasn't well publicized. Also a lot of folks I know went to New Orleans for their protest and to highlight the needs of the people there.

5. Congratulations WHD!
You know that quote "Well-behaved women seldom make history." Not that protesting is a bad behavior. I just mean we know we have to rock the boat to move things along.

Baby :yourock:

6. Way to go, girl!
Our march in Dallas is on Sunday - provided that our wet, windy weather actually cuts us a break long enough for us to march.

7. YAY WHD!!
You're a star now! Can I have your autograph? :yourock:

BTW, if anyone is interested, United for Peace & Justice is mobilizing a major rally in NYC on April 29. There are supposed to be mobilizations in other cities as well. And no, ANSWER is NOT invited to this protest.

9. Serious!
Several DUers are going to be there, & meet-ups have been proposed for Friday & Saturday nights. I'm staying with a friend & another KOEBer. Here, check out this thread:

FYI, NYC is booking up fast for Saturday night, so if you want/need to stay over that night (& why not, we're having a meet-up) get your room booked asap! You can always cancel if you can't make it. :)

17. Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it.
My dad is back in the hospital and my mom sounds like shit. If things get a whole lot better, I'll try to make a day trip of it, but it's my turn take care of them that week.

10. You are so cool! I was at an anti-war protest in San Diego today!!
Yes! I was there on business yesterday and today I was visiting some museums in Balboa Park and I stumbled into an anti-war event in the Park. Very fun. There were probably 500 people there with lots of great signs. My favorite one was a huge sign with Curious George on it, but it said Delirious George. There were speakers, booths and the like. I took photos and if any of them are good, I'll post a few here.

I knew there was an event here today and I was hoping someone from our board was there. WHD is such a star!

16. I looked for these and didn't see them, so thanks.
It was a gorgeous day with lots of people who were more than happy to be there protesting the war. There were several groups of 20+ cops on the fringes, but nothing like in Minneapolis. Did you see those pics? Frightening. In full out riot gear, with dogs, on horses, etc.
