KWTX (CBS Waco) Rather letters

The front page of the KWTX website has complaint letters about Dan Rather and CBS News. It also has a letter from the station manager going on about being a local station and having no control over the national newscast.

3. I think you missed my point

I posted that because I was angry that no pro Rather letters were posted. Upon further refection last night I realized that maybe they did not post any because they had not received any. I started to compose a letter using information from The AWOL Project site and after some more editing today I will send it in to KWTX.

I have been lurking for over 5 years. I just don't post much since someone else usually says what I want to say before I can say it.

4. I wonder-do you think Rush Limbaugh suggested people write

their local news station to complain? At least one of those letters mentioned Rush. So that the surplus of letters was an organized campaign and maybe a whole lot of other stations got these type too.

Yeah, write them!

There have been so many who post negative propaganda only in hopes of disrupting, and then disappear that it is hard not to get sensitized to these "hit & runs."

I hope your paper will print your letter and others will join you.
