Please join Austin For Kerry and the Travis County Democratic Party at Ruta Maya Coffee House (3601 S. Congress) at 7pm and watch Senator John Edwards debate Vice-President Dick Cheney. This is the only vice-presidential debate, so you won't want to miss it. In addition to watching the show on a big screen, drinks and food are available, as well as plenty of Kerry/Edwards shirts, buttons, bumper-stickers, and other gear. We'll also have updates on more local events as well as opportunities to get involved in the local Democratic campaign. This weeks presidential debate watch party at Ruta Maya was a raucous success, with hundreds of people uniting to watch John Kerry whip up on our lame duck president. Watching John Edwards debate the darkness himself should be just as exhilarating.
