Anyone home in Waco?
I just moved to Woodway, a suburb of Waco. I'm trying to get an Obama yard sign. I called the McLennan Democratic Activity Center two days ago, the nice guy who answered said come by the next day (yesterday) between 10 and 12 to get one. I went, no one was there. I called. There is not even an answering machine to leave a message.

2. Not even an email on their website
and the "news" on the home page is Howard Dean coming to Crawford in mid-July.

Sigh.

4. Keep trying. They're out there.
They're just probably not very organized. Consider yourself lucky to be able to get yard signs! :D

6. You've got guts!
Putting up an Obama sign in Waco is probably the bravest thing I have ever heard of. I know Republicans who avoid Waco.

7. It's actually not that bad.
Chet Edwards represents Waco (and Crawford) and he may be a conservative Dem, but at least the area DID elect a Dem.

8. I'm here, mostly!
But not all here, mostly.

The Democratic Activity Center is only open when they have volunteers, and it is not really well organized.

I happen to have 3 extra "TEXAS for OBAMA" sign left over from the primary.

PM me if you want one or more.
