Thank you for that cold front we got that saved this person from a meltdown.
I hope you folks are all okay out there. We got power back for 3 hours on Sunday, then it disappeared. We just now got it back again, but I'm not counting on it.
The hunt for gas and ice was on yesterday. I admit I am really spoiled, and not a great hunter/gatherer. Our home is fine, we lost a few shrubs, we have the basics, and each other. The neighborhood is a mess, but so is the rest of Houston.
I am so glad that's over with, and thanks to Canada, I'm hoping the gulf cooled off enough to deter any other storms this year.

Are you able to take any pictures? I would try to document the ordeal if I could. I know you are getting power on and off, but you're our media out there right now.
Hope your power is back to permanent.

2. Hi, Sonia. I did take a few pics from my house, but |

didn't want to be a voyeur to others' misery. I haven't downloaded them yet, but when I do, I will post a few.
I hope the power is permanent, too. I just went to turn on the stove, and had this huge grin because I didn't have to ignite it. It's the little things, and I've already admitted I'm spoiled, but I am so glad we have gas appliances, including the water heater. They came in handy.
